UniCamp Magazine

UCLA UniCamp is UCLA’s official student charity. Each year, its student volunteers (informally called “Woodseys”) bring hundreds of low-income youth to a week-long summer camp in the San Bernardino mountains. UniCamp Magazine was a one-time publication highlighting recent UniCamp news, photos, and testimonials from previous campers and volunteers.

Straight out of design school, this was one of my favorite projects to work on. I was given full creative control of the magazine design, and at the same time I didn’t have to worry about creating visual assets or copy for it, since Michael is both a writer and a photographer. Basically I got to puzzle piece together a bunch of pretty things into making another, bigger pretty thing. It was the best.
